If you have a DUI conviction in the state within last four years, it is unlikely that you will be able to receive an EMT certification. If you are currently an EMT facing a DUI conviction, you are required to report the offense within 30 days to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and will likely face an automatic license suspension.
